Strategy used was taking away unwanted word and searching for specific words.

3. TRIM BACK THE URL

  • After trimming away the last part, we see the index of /academics/education/projects/webquests. (http://oncampus.richmond.edu/academics/education/projects/webquests)
  • After trimming again, we see web based projects for elementary, middle and secondary school. (http://oncampus.richmond.edu/academics/education/projects)
  • After trimming again, we see the Education section at home page. (http://oncampus.richmond.edu/academics/education)
  • After trimming again, we see Majors, Undergraduate school programs, and Graduate school and continuing Education programs. (http://oncampus.richmond.edu/academics)
  • Finally, after trimming again, we see the home page. (http://oncampus.richmond.edu)
  • We trimmed the URL to the home page, and we searched for Web Quest by clicking into Educational Link button. We could find Several results and one of them was Web Quests. (http://www.longwood.k12.ny.us/wq.html)
