Viruses are most easily spread by e-mail messages or instant messages. As soon as you open the attachment in the messages, the viruses spread. Computer viruses also spread by using downloads on the Internet. They might be hidden in the files that you download.

Removing computer viruses are difficult without the help of computer virus removal tools. Some viruses reinstall themselves after they have been removed. In this case, by updating the computer and using antivirus tools, you can permanently remove unwanted software. To remove a computer virus, you should first install the latest updates from Microsoft Update on the computer. Next, update the antivirus software on the computer. By using it, you can detect the viruses. Finally, download, install and use the Microsoft Removal Tool to remove the viruses on the computer.

To avoid the computer viruses, turn on the firewall on your computer. You should also keep the computer operating system up-to-date so that the computer updates automatically. By using updated antivirus software and antispyware software, you can keep your computers safe.

It is a type of virus that is common but difficult to remove. It attempts to make users think that it is a beneficial application. It works by hiding within a set of seemingly useful software programs. Once it is installed, it starts infecting other files in the computer. A Trojan Horse Virus can steal important information from the computers. Since the computers are infected, it becomes slow and unexpected windows pop up. It results to a computer crash.

The Trojan Horse can be spread in the guise of literally anything people find desirable, such as a free game, movie, song, etc. Carelessly opened email attachment can be one of the causes. The Trojans usually damage silently.

One of the best ways to get rid of Trojan Horse is to back up entire hard disk, reformat the disk and re-install the operating system and all applications from original CDs. Once you are not infected anymore, you can restore your files from the back up. (If it is too hard, you can pay for a professional repair service to do it.) Other ways to stop the Trojan Horse is to use Anti-Virus Software and Anti-Trojan Programs.

To avoid getting infected in the future, the users have to be really careful and responsible. You should never download from the sites which you are not perfectly sure about. You must be sure what the file is before opening it. You should be certain of both the source and content of each file you download.

On last Thursday, November 6th, we had an international day, called “A Day in the World’s Shoes”. It was a day when we could learn about the poverty around the world. Our school invited the committee called “crossroads”. We started the day with David, a representative from crossroads. He talked about what is going on in today’s world. Although he talked in a funny way, the problem was serious. He emphasized that we all can change the world. After his speech, we were divided into several groups and had many activities. We carried water from big basket to small baskets. This was to understand how people get their water. We also had an activity that we had to bring things that we need for survival. This helped us know what we really need for out lives. After group activities, we listened to a woman’s speech. She talked about the specific things about poverty. After her speech, we got into several groups again and went to the classrooms. In the classrooms, we learned about the refugee camps. We also watched a video about North Korean refugee camp. Then we had lunch. The lunch was rice with vegetables on the leaves. We had to eat with our hands. First, we found it dirty and bad, but it was okay later. After lunch, we had a really exciting activity. We had to make paper bags. We had to make a lot of paper bags in a little time to pay for rent, food, education, and sanitation. When we were doing this activity, we were all in a rush and did not think that people are doing this everyday to survive. When I thought about that, I felt really sad about those people. It was the end of our day in the world’s shoes. I am glad that our school is going to build a school for poor people. I really liked the activities and I could learn many things about poverty around the world.

I used to ask myself, ‘How can I help poor people?’ when I saw them begging in the streets. I thought that I had to be an adult to help. After listening to the crossroads presentation, I learned that everyone can change the world, no matter what age. From now on, I will consider this problem more seriously and find a way to help them. I’ll also let people know about the problems.

When I read the articles, I felt that I often discourage myself by the way I look. I know that it just makes me feel worse. The article by Miss Tara states that “nobody loves everything about their body, but if we can learn to live with imperfection, we will be healthier and stronger emotionally”. I really agree to this statement. I will try to think positively even though I am not satisfied with myself.

- I used spot healing brush tool to remove my pimples, but I used just a little bit, so you can still see some pimples.

- Anyways, then I used magic wand tool to select the background. Then I deleted it.

- I could still select the background even though I deleted it.

- By inversely selecting, I selected my head.

- Next, I used the lasso tool to select my left head. Every time I selected different parts, I saved the selections.

- Then, by using the operation of ’subtract from selection’ I could select the right side of my head.

- Then I chose the blue color and pressed ‘alt+backspace’ to make my right side blue.

- By using lasso tool again, I divided the right side into ten pieces and colored them differently like puzzles. In each pieces, I put the pictures about something I like or something that identifies me. I copied the pictures and clicked “Paste Into”.

- First picture is the picture of John Terry with Lampard. I support Chelsea so I put this picture.

- The second picture is the ‘Heroes’, the American drama that I really liked to watch. Next is the picture of Kimchi which is the most famous food in Korea.

- Then I put the picture of Sushi, because I really love this food. Next picture is saxophone. My hobby is playing alto saxophone. I really love the music and the instrument, so I put this picture.

- Next one is the picture of one of the characters in the game called ‘Warcraft’.

- Then I put the picture of a dog, because I really love to play with the dogs.

- I eat lots of candies and gum, so I put this skittles picture.

- This is the picture of ‘Tom and Jerry’. When I was young, I watched this cartoon every day. I still love this cartoon.

- Finally, this is the picture of ‘South Big Door’ in Korea. It is the famous place to visit and I really love this building. This picture tells that I am from Korea.

- Next step was changing the background. I selected the background by loading the selection. Then I chose the color and used ‘alt+backspace’ to change the color.

- Under the ‘Filter’, I clicked ‘Render’ and then ‘Clouds’. I also clicked ‘Lens Flare’. This was when I did the first filter.

- But I was not really happy with this picture. So I clicked ‘Sketch’ and chose ‘Chrome’.

- Then, I loaded selection of left side of my face. Then, under ‘Filter’, I clicked ‘Sketch’ and chose ‘Graphic Pen’. Then I saved my work.

- This is my final picture of Photoshop.

- Thank You.
